On the 70th episode of the MindTrip podcast, we welcome one of Brazil's finest techno exports, The Lady Machine. Born in Rio de Janeiro and based in Berlin, Camilla has been involved in the electronic music scene for the last 20 years mainly as a purist vinyl DJ.
Her sound is based on a complex structure of rhythms with dark synth lines and rich textures, while her versatile sets are characterized by her precise mixing technique and exceptional track selection. She is a resident DJ at Berlin's famous Pornceptual nights and you will probably enjoy her sets at a club somewhere close to you if you haven't already. As a producer, you can find her on labels such as Mote Evolver, Token, Symbolism as well as on Unterwegs, her own record label along with Decka.

His acclaimed debut album "Time Foundation" on Luke Slater's Mote Evolver was followed up by multiple successful releases on labels such as Tresor Imprint and FUSE imprint among others. A regular at venues like Berghain, DeSchool or Fabric, Psyk has been around the globe sharing his unique blend of techno with the world. The musician Até, formerly known as PRXM C, has her roots in Greece. But just like she found her base in Berlin she also found her creative output and purpose in becoming a self-made electronic music artist - mainly spinning records and producing electronic music with pop vocal elements.  Her sound consists of heavy basses, hard rhythms and refreshing grooves - she is driven by elements of techno of the 90’s, elements of iconic rave tracks and a new and intriguing touch of contemporary sounds and melodies. With her finding footing and acknowledgement as a producer and musician worldwide, Até made it her goal to create an artistic safe space for artists of all sorts in the form of her collective “KVETCH” which she co-founded.

A look back at Philippa Pacho’s profound performance in our Room 01 at the positivesource showcase, which she co-founded hand in hand with Blue Hour. The Stockholm-born artist delivered a knife-edged vision to techno during a two-hour memorable set at her imprint night in Fuse.
 
Like a gentle hold, Philippa's narration is as tactile as poignant. Dark without being obscure, musing yet energetic, no one can doubt the decade of musicality that has flowed through her veins ever since. Drawn to sharp kicks or a few clipped vocals here and there, Philippa Pacho's mix is an invitation, or even more an exploration, to a complex and appealing inner world. A stand-out.

A true pioneer of the techno scene, Italian DJ and producer Gaetano Parisio needs no introduction but we'll just underline that since his first steps in the then-burgenoning electronic world back in 1992, his influence on the sound hasn't flinched one bit. Responsible for countless seminal releases on the likes of Primate, Zenit, Mosaic, his own structures Conform, ART and Southsoul and a myriad more, Gaetano has been pushing techno in new directions with ultimate drive and devotion to duty. Clocking in with a two-hour trip into his boundary-pushing headspace, the Neapolitan maestro treats us to a wild ride of trampling uptempo funk, sci-fi-indebted flights and further alien-engineered heaters. The forward-looking power of rave in its purest expression.
