Adrien Erra is a young French Parisian music producer best known as Cosmonection, whose been producing music for 10 years - first as part of a duo and now as a solo artist with his project Cosmonection.  Having been with Pont Neuf Records since the label's inception, he’s beginning to spreads his wings and record for other labels too, most notably Turkey’s Oath, whose global viewpoint is already established via releases from the likes of John Beltran and Loz Goddard.

For the 11th installment in our Just For The Night series, selectors take you on their own journey through groove. Anything goes.

Etched into the history of Italian House is one Carlo Troja, aka Don Carlos. In 1991 @IrmaRecords released his first single Alone, which almost immediately gained cult status. The soft, ambient, dream-like production defined a genre that came to be known as Paradise House. 

One of his more recent excursions that piqued our interest was a four-track EP on @razor-n-tape under artist name Montego Bay, all melodic house jams & sampled disco cuts. Don Carlos and S-Tone (Stefano Tirone @stoneinc) released two records on Bologna label Calypso in the early 90s and incredibly, the 4 tracks on this EP were produced 30 years ago, then shelved and forgotten about.

A true music obsessive, he has graciously delivered an hour of lush Mediterranean & Adriatic-soaked groovers from his extensive record collection. Benvenuti in paradiso. 🌴

A few words about Gary :

Originally from Verona, but with German roots, Gary has been on the Italian scene for over a decade. A young talent both as a DJ and a producer who is making space quickly thanks to productions of the highest quality.

The 2-track EP “𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 / 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲” was the first single released by @mothertonguerecords , where he now works full time as head of the distribution department.

His songs were also included in the compilation "𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮" of the 2nd anniversary of the printing house, in the series "𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀" and in other projects related to the Verona Pressing Plant.

On top of that he just released a fiery remix of Reekee's "𝗡𝗼 𝗢𝗻𝗲" on @timetoplayrec

He's a digger, collector & music lover after our own hearts, his own Music for Ears mix series of the highest calibre, featuring some of our favourite selectors out there including @hand-madedjs, @balearicbanana, @mannywhodamanny & @daniel-lupica to name a handful.

He's delivered a hammock-friendly, beautifully balanced globe-trotting hour of sounds from exquisite zouk jams & Guadeloupean guitars to Italo ballads & Brazilian 80s electro boogie. Everything jam packed full of soul & heat-beating gems. 🌴🍌🌴🏖️

as some of you might know, 13 days ago my beautiful mother was taken from this world far too early and it's been a shock to myself, family and friends. i had a solid 10+ days where i just couldn't open FL. but this track 'bounce back' is me coming back from this situation and trying to live on positively like she would have wanted me to.
