'something that counteracts an unpleasant feeling or situation'

This week Bruecke invites Berlin based Ele, part of the non-profit collective Movement13 (@movement13). While he spent his childhood surrounded by techno records, he wasn't interested in them initially. Promos, test presses and so called “DJ copies” belonged to his father, a DJ in the late GDR, excited about the new sound of techno and house that came with the unification of Germany. He shared all his love for electronic music with little Ele, who eventually became interested in deejaying himself. 

In his words "a shitload of years and hours spent at the decks later" we fast forward to today - Ele is happy to contribute a vinyl only mix to our series. It is a small adventure through some older cuts from Primate Records, Player, Gecko, Djax-Up Beats and some recent stuff from the likes of James Ruskin, Zenker Brothers and Perm.

Bruecke Invites: Ele

Originally coming from a small town near Munich @verhall_ got first introduced to techno in clubs like Blitz and Rote Sonne.
Meanwhile he is based in Vienna where he contributes to the local scene as a DJ but also as the promoter of @qualia.series, always pursuing the goal of bringing his musical vision from the bedroom into proper club settings. Musically you can expect hypnotic, driving and loopy grooves that will definitely make you wanna shake your hips.

Having played for local collectives, such as Jedermensch Koeln, and a recent private event for Agencies Factory, his focus lies on letting the music take center stage.
