✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

I started DJing at DIY squat parties in Halle 17 years ago. That shaped how I play: groove-driven but open to disruption, tension, and contrast. I’m drawn to Post-Punk, Electro, and New Wave’s rough edges, but also to the hypnotic structures of techno and house that allow you to stretch time.
I like artists who push emotional weight into their sets without relying on obvious formulas—who build a world where tracks that feel slightly wrong on their own suddenly make perfect sense.

✔️ What makes good “afterhour”?

A good afterhour isn’t just about playing slower or deeper in my opinion—it’s about shifting the focus. It’s where the night dissolves into something freer, where you can take risks, build tension, create strange moments that wouldn’t work at peak time.

For me, afterhours should feel fluid and unpredictable, and that’s what my track choices reflect. Some afterhours lean into warm, hypnotic grooves that pull people into a trance, others need sharp turns—unexpected elements that snap you out of autopilot. It depends on the space, the crowd, and the energy left in the room. But whatever the approach, a good afterhour should feel earned, not just like an endless loop.

✔️ Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

I wanted the set to show different sides of what an afterhour can be—not just one mood stretched for hours, but the shifts, the tension, the looseness. It moved between hypnotic and high-energy, deep and disorienting, groove-heavy and abstract. Some tracks feel like a soft landing, others like a glitch in the matrix. Would I change anything? Probably. But afterhours aren’t about perfection—they’re about creating something that exists only in that moment. The best ones leave you unsure whether you've been dancing for 30 minutes or three hours. That’s the feeling I always try to create.
