A true visionary and discerning selector, he couldn't of set this night off any more righteously than with this all 7" vinyl roots vibe. Listen, DaveQ and Funafuji are visionaries. 

Their 2 hour b2b set for XVIII didn't just expand whatever boundaries one might expect to hear from such a farseeing duo, it tore them clear out the frame. Recorded live in Brooklyn April 26th, 1984 at another unauthorized Reconstrvct, yes we're pleased the cops didn't come despite the dunkin donuts just a few hundred feet away from tsunami's lab horn stacks, but we're most pleased Dave and Safiya come thru and let us record and share this extrasensory set for more than just one night. 

Rest In Peace DJ Rashad, another visionary who's music can't be faded.
