This is a hybrid bassdrum I made from two 808 and 909 samples 

My goal was to create a kick that combines the best of both worlds – the rich sub bass ooomph of the 808, and the powerful transient of the 909, which cuts through the mix much better than a soft 808.

I first used this kick on my 2020 Bedrock release "Burn Your Love" – check it out!

Imagine you are by the sea with your best friends, have your favorite drink in your hand and you are listening to this song at sunset. That's exactly how I got the idea to compose "BE FREE". I wanted to create something real that would make me feel like I was there whenever I need it.

The cover of the song was made in Croatia and best describes the situation of my very first track.

On the ‘Lotus’ EP, Yør Kultura reveals a more melodic side of their musical realm. Gritty synth lines, strong percussion work and rolling basses invoke the spirits of places not yet discovered. Mysterious vocal samples sing the blues on this journey through various psychedelic worlds. The sultan of hamam swing Mehmet Aslan, crafts a sublime version of 'Willow' on B2, giving a Turkish twist by adding extra guitars and percussions. 33 & 45rpm playback is tested and highly recommended.

Zu unserem letzten 3-Jahre Jubiläum Podcast dürfen wir euch Andri aus Zürich vorstellen. Einige von Euch werden sich sicher noch an seinen Track "Rock The Night" erinnern welcher 2011 auf URSL erschien und so an ziemlich jedem elektronischen Festival durch die Decke ging. Andri brilliert durch  sphärisch flächige livesets und der Traumschmiede präsentiert er ein Set welches größtenteils aus unveröffentlichten Tracks besteht. Daher freuen wir uns ganz besonders und möchten uns an dieser Stelle herzlichst dafür bedanken!

Andri:
Nach ersten Erfolgen in der Zürcher Technoszene, die Andri in der legendären Dachkantine, dem Spidergalaxy oder der Alten Börse feierte, öffneten sich ihm Tür und Tor zu den nächsten Techno-Grossstädten. Und so war die Closing Party der Berliner Bar 25 für den Zürcher keine Nacht, die ihm so schnell durch die Finger glitt, keine, die im Dickicht des Clubtreibens so schnell unterging – wenn man noch von „Life-Changing-Experiences“ reden darf, dann war dies die seine. Seither ist ihm klar, dass diese Multisensuelle Reise immer weiter geht und sich die Publikums dieser Welt mit Begeisterung anschliessen.

"Die Menschen auf dem Dancefloor sollen die Geschichte meiner Musik erleben, sich voll und ganz dem Moment hingeben und den vorherigen vergessen.“

Den Rhythmus trägt er im Blut. Den Rest holt er sich aus Filmen, aus sorgfältig geborgenen Musikschätzen und allen möglichen Instrumenten oder Devices und Knüpft die Fäden durch wundervolle Arrangements zu der Musik zusammen, die man von Andri kennt und schätzt. Treibend und rhythmisch, ohne die Nuancen der vertonten Elemente zu nivellieren. Hat ihn seinen Freigeist in unbekannte Nischen geführt, möchte er sich darin nur ungern bequemem machen. Alles, nur kein stehenbleiben!

Releases wie die Vinyl-EPs „Flash Royal“ und „The Change“ waren seine ersten Tickets zu den Bühnen der Panoramabar, der Bar25, der Pratersauna oder der Fusion. Die Liste wird stetig fortgeführt.
