Puerto Rican imprint Fast Lane have been pushing out and supporting underground house and techno for some time. Over the years their Solstice Podcast has hosted the likes of Nicolas Duvoisin, Aman, Nils Weimann and Carlos Rivera - the artist in charge. This year podcast series turned to record label, with both Duvoisin and Mihai Pol featuring on the first release. And the momentum hasn't stopped. The fourth release is about to drop and it comes from Argentinian artist Xuacu.

No stranger to the world of production, Xuacu has put forward a steady stream of originals alongside classic interpretations. Minimalistic reworks of Massive Attack's 'Teardrops' and Radiohead's 'Morning Mr. Magpie' sit firmly at the fore. His latest exploration comes on Fast Lane, in the form of 'SR Stories' EP. Premiesku's George G aka Floog is back full-on-force on his own FLG which has reached its 3rd release this year, a musical journey that reflects on the artist’s vision. Each EP has represented the period of time where he spent hours in studio building tracks that will create a storytelling side and signals for the dancefloor. Unlike his live set, the tracks released on the label are meant to transition you from the roots of Floog’s musical influences to a futuristic imprint.
The entitled track "Nancy" is a magnificent example of George's capacity to melt intricated minimal grooves and progressive-ish chords, but without forgetting the ultimate dancefloor approach that a track like this should have.
