Eleven unique tracks from eleven distinct and talented artists, "GLBDOM Therapy 2" is an odyssey of sounds sharing one sublime compilation. Bonded by a common theme, that of a deep and at times soulful persuasion, every turn on the VA manages to deliver something different. Pumping house sounds reminiscent of the 90s seamlessly blend with deeper renditions echoing a style more closely associated with the early to mid-2000s. Driving 4/4 beats play happily alongside cleverly programmed synth riffs, dreamy pads, meandering strings, and a wealth of skilfully applied vocal lines. A vintage and retro tinged vibe permeated the entire collection while deftly avoiding cliches, every artist bringing their distinctive and modern approach to the art of creating modern house music. The Archives 002 continues the series with Vortex, a deep and driving cut that captures a more hypnotic side of my sound. Built around evolving rhythms and warm textures, this track represents one of those late-night moments where everything falls into flow.

The Archives is a monthly release series showcasing unreleased works from over the years, a curated selection of tracks that capture different moments and creative phases in my journey. Spanning House, Deep House, Minimal, Deep Tech, and UK Garage, each release stands on its own as a reflection of a specific time and feeling. These pieces may not have been made for labels or albums, but they represent the raw essence of my sound and evolution as an artist.

Vortex

This project was born out of a late-night, "toilet philosophy" discussion in a nightclub with two friends active in the tech house scene. We were reflecting on boring, disposable club music.
The EP was generated by AI as a raw, quick-fire response, but equal time was spent on the discussion as for making the actual music. It challenges the idea that musical legacy must be painstakingly produced to be serious. This is a testament to ideas over sterile production value.

This is a plea to the scene: Don't treat genuine emotions like waste.

Rich’s last outing for the influential imprint was large by any standards, spreading far beyond the FUSE dancefloors finding support from many places. Led by EP track ‘Serious’, which was heralded as one of the tunes of 2018 by Mixmag in their mid-year review, it got love from Seth Troxler and the Martinez Brothers at Circoloco, alongside heavy rinsing of ‘Brigade’ and ‘Eight’ by all the FUSE residents.
 
The ‘Hard To Be’ EP comes as another on-point three-track work from Rich that channels the same versatile spirit. ‘Wah’ is an uplifting slice of original house, mirroring the accessibility and fun of ‘Serious’ with a catchy riff that runs throughout. The track created an enormous buzz on the IOM group with hundreds of comments and I.D requests pouring in throughout the year, and soundtracked parties everywhere from Fuse’s raves at Studio 338 terrace in London, Sonus Festival and The Martinez Brother’s Cuttin’ Headz at ADE. ‘Interrobang’ is head-nodding brilliance as twisted bass and sampled attitude characterise the seven-minute peak time banger. ‘On The Rocks’ rounds out the EP as punchy kicks and buttery smooth bass mark this work of grooving minimalism, echoing the spirit of Fuse029’s ‘Eight’.
 
And so closes the chapter of this impressive body of work. In the process it’s proved what we already knew all along; his knack for providing fail-safe dancefloor ammunition for the Fuse faithful and beyond, remains as strong as ever.
