Italian outfit Abstract Sounds have been serving up a generous helping of music production tools in recent years, mainly via Loopmasters and Loopcloud. Their sample packs have proved popular on the underground circuit, geared specifically at micro house and minimal. After a first succesful release, Lyon based crew YA.R is back with their second release that brings you a different vibe, darker, more energic that leads toward the deep hours of the night.

Aladdin starts with the brighter track, a light track, which will bring you a silly smile and which borders on derision with samples of phone commercials, riffs of old school Trance and acid lines.

Funktroid take the A side a step further into the Trance flavour, this one will hit the dancefloor just the right way it has to be done, big acid lines that will melt your face down and airy pads that will raise your conscience into a higher state.

PREMIERE: Funktroid – Born Free

Pornbugs is the alter ego of ‘Sven & Sven’ - two electronic music aficionados that have played together since 2005 - playing and pro- ducing deep-tech house sounds aimed firmly at the dancefloor.

Here with their Echoing In My Mind EP for Sublease Recordings, they are back doing what they do best - making high octane dance music with a touch of class.

The title track is a firing deep tech workout with a clean production and distinctive sound design, enriching the ever present dancefloor tension.

The EP also features two versions of Ramenko - the original is a slinky tech house groover with an irresistible bassline, while Sascha Dive's Soul 2 Soul Remix leans towards a soulful disco house groove while maintaining a strong edge.

Dan Goul has made a splash with a high-speed remix on Symbiotical Records.

In the fourth cut of the dub tones, an electric charge comes into being — this multi-layered collage with a Greek-Macedonian handwriting. The mainline bass strung on a springy kick reflects something more than the seasons. Subtle hi-hats, pad reminiscences and synthesizer accents pierce the body of the entire composition. The dynamics of cosmogenesis are manifested in an expanded range of senses.
