When they met few years ago in the funkiest vineyard of Occitanie (FR), @pmrty and @admo had a lot to tell each other. So much they started to feel the need of a musical journey together, barking in harmony. One thing leading to another, the two producers decided it was about time they’d put their skills to the test - and after countless CBD-Free jam sessions on some couches in Berlin, the @alpyren project was born. On a Tuesday.

A duet project - four hands and twenty fingers (quick maths) - tailored for the floor and inspired by the quirkiest afters vibes. Their creativity is unleashed in this project, and they really let it all out. 

This new 3-tracker, made in Charlottenzbeul, evokes the thrill of the unknown - you don’t know where you’re going, but you’re getting there through tech-house. A dismal sound which catches you by the collar and transcends you. A Cold Case investigation, where you’re nowhere to be found - except on the dance floor.

Locked-In returns with its eighth vinyl release, showcasing the talents of DOTT in a four-track EP.

The A-side opens with "Shock FM", setting the EP's tone. DOTT's masterful sound design is fully displayed, building tension and release through intricate percussion. The track's progression is sure to captivate dancefloors and headphone listeners alike.

"The Helper Returns" follows, diving deeper into atmospheric territory. Swirling synths intertwine with a driving bassline, evoking vast, subaqueous landscapes. The track's subtle evolution reveals new sonic details with each listen.

Flipping to the B-side, "A Bit of Dis & Dat" presents a more stripped-back approach. Its minimalist structure allows each carefully placed element to shine, from crisp hi-hats to a rumbling low-end. This is DJ material to maintain energy while adding depth to their sets.

The EP closes with "Sine Bass Runs Deep." Here, undulating rhythms and shimmering top-end create a sense of constant motion, perfect for those early morning hours when the dancefloor is locked in a collective trance.

PILLZ returns, and this time they call on another artist who has been creating some of the standout music in recent times, Stefano Andriezzi. The Argentinian has been in fine form in recent times, serving up some of the essential bombs for djs, and his exploration on PILLZ lives up to the high standard. “Elektronico” is presented as four innovative cuts, moving between distinctive interpretations of an array of underground moods. 

Up top we have the title track “Elektronico”, sophisticated club sounds for trained ears, elevating the direction of the floor. A hip house vocal teases the track as it boasts uplifting chords, and crisp drum patterns. “Raves Weekend” packs exactly the punch you would expect, a heads down affair shifting into fifth gear. A dynamite exploration using lively rave stabs, and a killer elastic groove. As we move to the B side “Computer” shows exactly why Stefano has received the acclaim of recent times. Pumping peak time movements from the blossoming producer, enormous drums and drive throughout. Last but certainly not least is “Get Fanki”, brimming with spaced out energy, consistently lifting as the track continues to progressive. Laced with deep and shimmering synths for the closing action of the EP. 

PILLZ again provided a platform for some of the most prolific new talent on the circuit with Stefano Andriezzi striking hotter than hot once more!

Twenty-four strikes on Exarde with Parchi Pubblici, the hardware analog act from Italy who records his songs in one take and have been laying it heavily and steadily for a while, henceforth we can hear the result of it with our own ears. The release consists of four original works by the man himself with first three ready for peak time club cuts with the help of roaring analog machines. They are produced to ready to sweat the dance floor, these stories are followed by a great outro track to conclude this EP. “Pressed Trouble” which is the name of this disc describes the content of it perfectly, because sure as hell this body of work is on the mission to create trouble and trouble sometimes needed to construct the top-level audio trips. Having produced digital contents for the respected labels that you can look up, this is a debut physical vinyl release by the artist and it is a great honour to host him on the label and hopefully to many more to come in the future.
