Spring is just around the corner! That means that Spring Suite finally is, too, so it's time to show a preview for it, my favourite part of the suite and one of my favourite parts of the soundtrack in general, Dummy! This has ended up as one of the most ambitious things that I've ever written.

The Mad Dummy is an odd one. He kind of just shows up with barely any relation to the story, then disappears again almost immediately. Despite this, he ended up as one of my favourite characters by way of managing to cram so much personality and one of the most fun battles in the game into that short time. His battle music, Dummy!, is also one of my favourite tracks in the soundtrack, an extremely catchy reprise/remix of Ghost Fight, Napstablook's battle theme. I've had this idea for it for a very long time and it was very fun to finally be able to put it together like this. My only regret is that it kind of makes my own arrangement of Ghost Fight sound pathetic, but I suppose that that's fitting in its own way.

Spring Suite will be out next week, on March 22nd!

An Evening with the Underground Symphonic Orchestra is a two-hour symphony/orchestral score based on the work of Toby Fox from the soundtrack of Undertale, reimagined as an orchestral work from Undertale's mix of 16-bit-ish and MIDI sounds and arranged into an imaginary film score. Undertale is one of my favourite games of all time and has one of the most intelligently-written soundtracks that I know, so this is the least that I can do to pay tribute to a game that means so much to me. The full album should be released in late 2019.
