The illustrious Abu Ama lets loose on Accidental Meetings with a 9 track LP, manifesting his trademark distorted dubwise style, with traditional folk song throughout. 

Following wzrdyAV's sublime 'Midnight Visions' we're so, so excited to welcome Abu to the label for AM002. An unbelievable artist and person, we're honoured to have him on AM. 
Abu who lives in West Germany showcases his whole repertoire throughout the 9 tracks with a selection of new and old, past and present. 

His field recordings are scattered over the album and his rumbling bass is ever present, traditional folk songs dip in and out of the album all brought together in Abu's signature dub-wise style. 


The album flows from the noise and industrial-ness of Ghostograph and Nictistwieesscheint to the softer pads of Red Rose and Gods Will. Abu's trademark distorted style and rumbling bass comes in to the fray on Yogi Yard with the addition of hard hand drums in Karochi. Leading him to venture into more of his traditional dub on Kleopatra arabxo, where his distant field recordings really come into play. The traditional folk song is present throughout however it really shines Peach Garden & Plastic Cobra, where he really gets his groove on.

After much delay (and anticipation here at Juno) the excellent http://soundcloud.com/millions-of-moments label finally unveils its UK leaning offshoot - cunningly titled Millions Of Moments UK - with the first of two twelves of music from Eastern Europe that are clearly influenced by the post Burial swing. Estonian http://soundcloud.com/bisweed shares the billing with Ukrainian http://soundcloud.com/lostlojic, and it's the latter's "Emptiness" which kicks off proceedings via a remix from rushd - there's an undeniable quality to the way the clipped rhythms float into silence and back. http://soundcloud.com/bisweed's "Falling" is a worthy A Side companion, as rigid bass hits roll out with aplomb to a backdrop of ethereal keys and chimed atmospherics, and it's the subtle twists in direction that really impress upon repeat listen. The flip sees http://soundcloud.com/lostlojic and http://soundcloud.com/bisweed contribute two collaborations that sit perfectly alongside the sound of UK talent such as Koreless - with "The Overworld" showing a particular skill for deviating between shimmering melodic light and richly crafted darkness, whilst the dramatised orchestrations of title track "Will Be" are wrapped around a percussive flex reminiscent of Untold.

This release is filled with bright, heartfelt tracks at 160 bpm and brings a fusion of Juke and Drum and Bass styles. The Russian artist Raumskaya grew up on Juke music, but organically grew into many different genres and bpms. Over the last 4 years, his style and sound began to become more complex and darkened considerably. This “Addiced to Love” release is a return to the origins of the Raumskaya project. A very lighter side of Raumskaya that he is proud to share.
 
Bio:
Starting from Juke music, Raumskaya dedicated his life to find his own unique style. Now Raumskaya dabbles in many experimental club music projects from Moscow and around the globe (Labels: Hyperboloid, Knightwerk, Terminal Dream, Beryoza, Brownswood Recordings). From vintage hardcore, trance and bass music to idm, techno and ambient. The last 2 years Raumskaya has integrationed cinematographic soundtrack vibes into club music to make club music more emotional. He’s already released 8 albums and many remixes along with various singles. Gleb is working with theatres and has made two different full-leight soundtracks for contemporary ballets, mixing together all music styles creating new futuristic sounds.
 
Gleb Raumskaya is co-founder of Russian ghetto community "Beryoza" representing the Bass scene of Russia. Raumskaya was a finalist of Stussy Make the Beats, he also took part in Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp and Granatos Festivalt in Lithuania. He has been featured on the radio stations – Rinse FM, BBC Radio 6 and Sub.FM. Gleb was recording his tracks in Cuba under the guidance of Gilles Peterson (bbc radio 6). The record release party of The Soundclash album (Brownswood Recordings, UK) was held in London. In 2015 Raumskaya represented the Russian Beats Scene and played his live set at Boiler Room, Stay True Moscow and was opening DJ for worldwide Hip-Hop icon DJ Premier. Raumskaya has played Havana Art Biennale, Tallinn Music Week and MENT Festival (Ljubljana).
