I used a phrase from a comment I received from Stars Mighty Fine as the title.
First, I see a chaotic array of tones, and then I try to create some kind of structure from that chaos. I think the process of composing is simply trying to control the song and sound with all my might.

"This track came together thanks to a specific deadline and goal. I knew that if I finished it, Shorlax (@shorlax) would play it on his Daydreaming show on Kiosk Radio. A clear goal really works.

While making the track, I imagined a monk in a Thai prison, and my goal was to finish the track in a way that would ‘set the monk free.’

In this track I used a sample I cut and processed about five years ago, but unfortunately I can’t remember the author. I only remember it was a Japanese sound designer or musician, probably that track was for an ad, though I could be mistaken. If anyone recognizes it, please let me know so I can give proper credit." ~ Kalivas
