Recovery Deluxe are from Coventry UK. Childhood friends Tom Paul Smith and Sam Kendall formed the band in summer 2013.

All the members of the band have been involved in the Coventry music scene in one band or another for the last decade. Tom Paul played guitar in previous 'G-factor battle of the bands' finalists 'Trillionaires'. Sam played guitar in previous 'G-Factor' winners and highly acclaimed 'Shackletons' and also played in 'Treehorns' along with Peej who also had a stint playing drums in 'Resurrection Men'. Tom Simkins previously played in 'The Sequins' and 'We Are The Dead' and currently plays in several bands, one of which 'Bad Horse' reached the final of this years 'G-Factor'.

Alongside sharpening their live performances at several local Coventry venues, the band have also recently finished recording their debut album with local producer John Webb. John plays bass in legendary Coventry band 'Moonbears' and owns the Moonbase Studio to which Recovery Deluxe retreated over several weekends to record ten tracks. John summed up the bands sound as,
"Power pop with hints of Supergrass, Blur and The Fall, topped with a lightly psychedelic glaze." 

The band are gathering momentum as of late with the help of a support slot with 'Pulled Apart By Horse' at The Kasbah in Coventry. The release date of their debut album will be announced soon and the band hope to continue building their profile locally in the West Midlands with their raw and energetic live shows.
