It's a waltz, it's Country and it's all the way Rock. If Garth Brooks had a love child with Motley Crue this would be it. Country music affords you the opportunity to write lyrics that have the ability to affect the listener’s emotions in a positive memorable way. In four minutes you can tell an entire story that reminds a person again of a perfect moment in their life.  I wanted this song to be one of mine.  So I dug in deep to my past. I tapped emotions I had years ago for that one person that just blew my mind away but still got away. We are still good friends today. She knows who she is. This song belongs to her.

It took 10 years to finish this tune. I started writing this so long ago the model that inspired it is now married with a new born daughter. It was a song worth seeing to the end. When Jason and I were finishing banging out the chord progression he said that it reminded him of when he first met his wife Bobbie. I think every man has had the experience at least once of seeing a woman for the first time that was so beautiful the whole world suddenly just stopped. This track tells my first and only experience. That’s what it’s all about… Enjoy the song!

3 years a go I lost my mother to a car accident. I was inspired to write a song about her life. It has taken over 2 years to record 

and a whole lot of tears. I am ready to share it with her friends and family.

It's a happy accident that the haunting sound of the E-bow at the beginning of the song sounds identical to my mothers flute playing 

in church on any given Sunday morning. Always smiling and a flower in her hair, she was my first girlfriend and my first love. 

Mom I miss you and this song belongs to you.

This song is about my come to Jesus moment. It is my testimony in a nut shell. At one time I was involved in things they make movies about. In fact I used to joke that "Studio 54" was boring compared to my life. The reason why I now so strongly believe in Christ is because I have met the Devil. He's an ass!

The Red Dirt Rock Band!!!

A "Red Neck" rock band with "Red Dirt" roots, "Mid West" heart, and California swagger. We are spread out across the nation from San Francisco to Tulsa. When the family comes together the music begins.

The genesis of RDRB was in Grove Oklahoma. The family cousins would occasionally get together and jam on the front porch that overlooks Grand Lake. Uncle Ben and cousin Jason decided to start recording some of the tunes. With the addition of Jeremiah Harrison's incredible guitar work on those recordings the magic began. Over a period of two years a group of talented rednecks from diverse backgrounds bound together by blood and life long friendships entered the studio to lay tracks. The result is the music you hear on this site with many, many more songs to come.

We are a group of sophisticated rednecks from San Francisco & hard working cowboy's from Oklahoma. A band that plays, prays, and rocks together. RDRB has strong political beliefs based on God, family, personal liberty, and our love for this country. Our convictions are reflected and expressed with passion in our music.

Some people call it "Out Law Country". Others Call It "Red Dirt Music". We simply just call it "Red Dirt Rock". What started out as cousins jamming on the front porch of a lake house turned into recording sessions that produced the music you hear now and WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED!
