eSTRANGEd couSINs is a project shaped by family, distance, and loss. Daniel grew up barely knowing his cousins Timmy and Kenny after his father left early in his life. While Daniel served in the military, Timmy and Kenny kept making music, and years passed without real contact.

After learning his father had died, Daniel reached out to Timmy. Their first deep conversation brought another heartbreak: Kenny had been killed in a motorcycle accident, and Timmy survived with serious injuries that stayed with him.

When they finally reunited, Timmy arrived with a thick notebook full of poems and songs written for his brother. The two walked to a dark boardwalk in the woods and played—Daniel on guitar, Timmy choosing pages by memory. Daniel recorded everything on his phone. The sound was raw and unpolished, but full of truth. Songs like “Let It Go,” “No Regrets,” “Wheels of Fate,” “Walk Upon Your Grave,” “Without You,” and “The Master of Pain” carried Timmy’s grief, love, and struggle to live with Kenny’s absence.

They spent years dreaming of creating more together. Daniel even wrote a full heavy album, hoping for another chapter. But that future changed when Daniel received the call that Timmy had passed away.

Though Timmy and Kenny are gone, their couSIN Daniel is still here, and the family line continues. eSTRANGEd couSINs now lives on as a dedication: a way to preserve Timmy’s voice, poetry, and spirit, and to let the world hear the heart behind their story.
