The Pantheon VA marks the one-year anniversary of Wonderlust Records, and what a crazy year it has been. Born in the height of a pandemic, Wonderlust Records has grown from strength to strength with each release and has been supported by some of the biggest names in the heavy techno scene.

Wonderlust began as an Ibiza born rave vision that has grown renowned for its uncompromising music policy and carefully crafted artist rosters. Our releases have sought to not only push this further, but also incorporate our artistic vision with our covers and visuals with each release – pushing the boundaries with industrial, hardcore, rave and acid. 

Culminating the rage, misery and creativity of a range of international artists, this 44 track VA releases in 4 separate parts and continues to push the brutal attitude of the label of the label and its unforgiving attitude. 

Wonderlust’s Holy Trinity of intensity, experimentation and fury is noted within each of the tracks, resonated further through the artwork crafted by Voodoo Nation and mastered by the major Wanton Mastering.

Fairground of Tears is an artistic concept run by Piotr Sledzinski. A concept that is categorised by the darker, industrial and more energetic tones of the techno genre.

Piotr has experimented with electronic music of all colours partly through his former alias and alternative electronica project Ne Plus Ultra along with an involvement in the Passive Front Records imprint. This wide ranging experience and hunt for expression ultimately leads itself to the Fairground of Tears concept and EXILED event series. The latter playing host to Melania, Operant, Violet Poison, Inhalt Der Nacht, Domenico Crisci to name a few and establishing itself as a premier and forward thinking events series. In that very same vein his own sets and productions are not bound by any specific style. Consequently an eclectic mixture of dense industrial textures and techno atmospheres as well electronic body music can be expected in his mixes.

MO DR - Damian Modrzejewski, a producer and a DJ, who has been focusing mainly on producing dark, industrial and rough. music, which becomes his individual, unique tone. His productions could be heard in Omen Recording or Techno Expedition. From 2018 to 2020 he belonged to Techenko collective. MO DR presented his music in places such as Ziemia, Sfinkks700, Protokultura, Tech-room27 or NRD in Toruń. Recently, he started a new project with Thildaa , called "Red Circle". RAAV aka Konrad Staszewski is a Polish DJ, producer, and sound engineer living in Berlin. He works as a sound technician for movie productions and TV. In 2019 he, again, fell in love with Inductrial Techno. Since that time, he has been creating dark sounds in his "music forge", expressing his mad mind. His every performance is a new chance to cross the borders of  hard, industrial sound and dive deeper into the rough, industrial, techno music ocean. He is very precised, he is an individual and pays much attention to preparations to each performance to make it sound special. Each recording is factorized into single samples and then put  together but in the way which is characteristic for the "RAAV's madness factor". You may be sure, that if you have the opportunity to listen to these effects live, you will learn what "Underground Berlin Hard Industrial" means.

This release speaks the pure language of techno: stripped back but without losing power and fully charged with relentless tension and unstoppable kinetic momentum. The sound design is notably restrained and pulls you into a hypnotic state with purposeful repetition while each component is occupying a clearly defined role in the mix.
 
As a whole, ‘Redemption Act’ presents a technically focused approach to contemporary techno with a clear artistic identity. Eluna Vex is giving us a clear message that he is an artist that doesn’t chase trends, he carves out his own terrain and holds it.
