Warming up for yourself is probably one of my favorite things to do, and the increasing amount of "Open to Close" sets you're seeing DJs play these days is a testament to that.

It was a real pleasure playing such an intimate room of friends and family in the midst of one of the coldest winters I can recall.

At around 47 minutes you'll notice an obvious slow down when someone came into the booth while I was in the bathroom and dropped things from 119 to 115 but we get back to the program a minute later.

On this night I started things pretty laid back and tried to bring things up gradually, throwing in a bunch of new records that have caught my ear over the last few weeks.

Diverse like the nature, the wind carries you onto the top of the mountains, where the cold snowflakes fall on your skin, to melt on the surface of your heated body. Sure this is as deep as it makes you high, dark like a valley, and shiny like the sun, fitting in a dualism way. Best moods delivered by now.

She started making compilations at the age of 9 when she received her first radio cassette. Her musical styles include deep house, progressive and minimal, with a touch of '80s. 
Now part of Cosmovision Records, Caterina has been getting people dancing all over the globe, from underground loft parties in Montreal, beach parties in Mexico, Domenican Republic, Lyon nightclubs and all the way out into the deep playa at Burning Man.

This was an incredibly special night, a celebration of my birthday and other fellow Scorpios at Canalla in Medellin Colombia.

I prepared a set that I felt was going to rock the house and the lovely souls present did not disappoint! From beginning to end, the beautiful vibes & energy persisted, the added live guitar element by the incredibly talented Andres Marcell was perfection.

It was an absolutely magical night! ✨

Ever focused on evolving his sound, Reda is currently also performing with voice of Andre Mistier of The Adversary. The experience of seeing the two performing is anything but ordinary as this pair’s approach is unexpected and riveting. Initially as you dance and mingle, you might not notice the presence of the live vocals, so perfectly are they blended into the mix. But as the intensity of the music and the night swells —so does the powerful pull of the vocals; until you, and everyone else, feels like you’re personally invited deeper into the music. 
When it comes to his studio sets and remixes, Reda keeps things lively. He has a natural ability to engage audiences; evident if you’ve ever seen him spin: ‘I Am Beautiful’ and ‘2 Suns’. Both are deep tech-house tracks with progressive spiced riffs. Then again the layered, uplifting vocals on 'A Beacon of Light' are a crowd favorite. 

A worldly traveler who is now based out of New York City, Reda was born in French Algiers and raised in Paris. He credits his ability to marry multi-layered beats and unaffiliated artists into a unified sound to his early exposure to diverse musical influences and formats. Formats that included tribal percussions, pumping rhythms, pulsing beats and thumping grooves. 

Stepping back, it’s clear that the soundscape Reda paints fills a room and is a powerful experience to sink deeply into. By all means do come in... He’s expecting you.
