A fresh hot Russian label Spaghetti Monster based in Moscow starts it’s activity with a killer release representing powerful disco-shaped track «Your Love» from a label owner Russian dj & music producer - Slow Crime which comes with sexy percussion and acid cymbals making your body shaking from first seconds. The EP continues with a deeper side presented by one of Steyoyoke residents an Italian guy Sasch which style has a recognizable shapes and grooves. Sasch’s deeper love remix makes you dive deeply in a strong bass and very melodic synths. An another version from Sasch which brings us the sound of middle 90-s and won’t have a digital release (vinyl only). And the last but not the least comes a real BOMB - supakillah remix from Off recordings residents and nice English duo - Vanilla Ace and Dharkfunkh. This tandem gets into your heads with a dope and sick groove, an unusual atmosphere and cool old-fashioned synths very nice for a prime-time set start.

Italo-German Vincenzo returns to Anjunadeep with “Just Like Heaven”, the first single taken from his forthcoming fourth artist album “The Vanishing Years”. Having built his reputation over nearly two decades with timeless releases on iconic labels like Steve Bug’s Dessous and Anjunadeep itself, the album is shaping up to be an excellent reminder of Vincenzo’s impressive talent and longevity.

“Just Like Heaven” might be instantly recognisable to some as a cover of The Cure’s celebrated 1987 single. Vincenzo teams up once again with vocalist Minako Sasajima, who adds a delicate soul to Robert Smith’s romantic lyrics, which glide above a floating bass groove and falling synths. Full of emotion and colour, “Just Like Heaven” sees Vincenzo at the top of his game.

The first of two exciting remixes comes from another veteran of the German scene, Dave DK. A former resident at the legendary Panorama Bar, Dave’s recent releases on the excellent Pampa Records and Kompakt have been met with widespread acclaim, and he delivers another beauty here. Twisting the vocal almost beyond recognition, and layering it with dark melodies and left-field textures, Dave creates a memorable piece of atmospheric techno.

Swedish rising star HNNY is another artist on a hot streak thanks to recent EPs on Local Talk and Permanent Vacation. Taking an altogether different approach to Dave DK, HNNY’s remix is a raw and quirky slice of melodic house music, driven along by infectious bass stabs and twinkling melodies.

Eli & Fur, aka Eli Noble and Jennifer Skillman, have been making a name for themselves on the London DJ circuit of late, and putting out a string of fresh and exciting singles, including “Seeing Is Believing”, their excellent collaboration with Shadow Child. “Feel The Fire” is a tougher, harder-edged take on their typically melodic sound, and works wonders with their ethereal vocals. 

A memorable moment from Anjunadeep 06, the energetic original mix has been a mainstay in James Grant and Jody Wisternoff’s DJ sets this year. Fellow rising stars Journeyman take on remix duties, stripping down the peak-time power of the original for a more mellow rolling style, with a buoyant groove carrying the track through flowing chord stabs and the distinctive vocal hook.

A highlight from the iTunes #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’, Ryan Davis’ melancholic beauty ‘Brun’ gets reworked by two leading lights of the European underground, Luca Bacchetti and Matthias Meyer. Over the past decade Ryan Davis has carved out his own niche, with a unique brand of melodic techno, attracting wide-spread support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Jonas Rathsman, Stephan Bodzin and Max Cooper. 

Following releases on Crosstown Rebels, Saved and Ovum over the past few years, along with a string of stand-out remixes, Italian producer Luca Bacchetti offers up a signature rework, intertwining an subtle groove with delicate cinematic chords that compliment the spacey sentiments of the original.

Hamburg influencer and Watergate resident Matthias Meyer takes the stage for the second remix, debuted in James Grant’s recent Deep House Amsterdam mix. Meyer offers a textured roller, infusing classic house elements that resonate beautifully alongside the original’s cosmic soundscapes; an uplifting and emotive dancefloor moment.
