In dieser Episode befassen sich Krsto und Danijel mal wieder mit Geschichte. Und was für einer! Denn was kaum jemand weiß: Zwischen kroatischen Nationalisten und dem sozialistischen Jugoslawien tobte bereits eine Art Krieg, lange bevor Jugoslawien auseinanderbrach.

Zwischen den frühen 60ern und späten 80ern schaukelte sich die Gewalt zwischen rechten kroatischen Exilorganisationen und den jugoslawischen Geheimdiensten immer weiter hoch. Kroatische Terroristen verübten zeitweise im Wochentakt Terroranschläge weltweit. Und der jugoslawische Staat reagierte mit gezielten Tötungen. Das an sich wäre schon spektakulär genug - doch was gänzlich in Vergessenheit geraten ist: Dieser blutige Konflikt wurde zu einem nicht unwesentlichen Teil auf deutschem Boden ausgetragen.

Danijel hat in den letzten Monaten an einem Storypodcast namens "Krieg im Schatten" gearbeitet, der unlängst vom Hessischen Rundfunk veröffentlich wurde und der sich genau mit dieser Thematik befasst. Hier diskutieren Krsto und er nun die Hintergründe und die Frage, warum dieses blutige Kapitel jugoslawischer und deutscher Geschichte derart in Vergessenheit geraten ist.

Nebenbei erfahrt ihr ein paar interessante Familieninterna von Danijel, warum der kroatische Präsident nun doch lieber wieder Ministerpräsident wäre und was Donald Trumps bucklige Verwandschaft in Belgrad so treibt.

My passion for hip hop was born on the day I heard PE's "Fear of a Black Planet" on tape back then. 
It's gone through changes from east to west, back to east again, focusing on the musical production rather than only the lyrical delivery. 

But still remaining is the hunger for all kind of music hip hop draw my attention to. And yes, MJ and Stevie Wonder always had a big impact, no matter how weird and eclectic my DJ sets can be, I love the classic shit as well. It's not about just being different for the sake of it.
