Recorded 02/20/24 at 10:37 pm in Missouri. It was faint so everything was amplified by 10dB.

Possible EVP voices near my tent at a time when nobody we know of was near my tent. This was recorded at 1:05 am on 04/21/24 in Missouri. It is manipulated in an attempt to clarify the voices. I think it is two separate voices. First says "Cold" and second says "The Fire." We did have a fire burning 50 or 60 yards away. I was at the fire, nobody was near the tent.

We heard this vocalization at basecamp on Saturday at 11:22 pm. We all thought it was people at the time, but now I'm not so sure. The first vocalization is from the recorder North of base camp, and the 2nd is the same sound recorded at my tent. The entire clip is amplified by 15dB.

Recorded on 05/04/24 in Iowa and 8:47 as we prepared for a night hike. The clip is selectively filtered and amplified to try to make the knocking sounds clearer. We did not hear this at the time.

Possible Light Knocks in response to Greeting

Possible light knock. We heard movement on a ridge above us prior to this. We did not hear this while standing there. The knock portion of this clip is amplified by 15 dB.

You cannot hear it in this clip, but this noise was also a splash. The recorder was about 200 yards away from this incident, but myself and another person were much closer. It was followed by 2 clear water splashes that were not captured by this recorder. Except for the splash, I thought it was a knock at first, so I suspect it was rock on rock. This was in Minnesota on 04/11/24 at 10:29 pm. It was faint so the sound was amplified by 24 dB, while other background was not amplified as much.

I think this bear. One had been seen a few days earlier in this general area. Recorded in Minnesota, 05/11/24 at 10:57 pm. This is as recorded with no editing.

These sounds are similar to sounds hears in person 3 hours earlier. These were 400+ yards further up the creek than the 10:30 pm sounds. This clip was filtered to remove frog noise and amplified. No people were present at this location at 1:30 am on 05/12/24.
