BFRO Expedition in Iowa on 05/11/23. Sounds like a cow and vocalization at 10:00 pm, another vocalization at 10:01, and a third at 10:03 with a knock. This may be squatchers. Waiting on confirmation to find out if they made all of these sounds.

These howls were recorded on Sept 29th, 2023 at a marsh in western Wisconsin. The first howl was at 2:21am and happened about 40 seconds after a far  away group of coyotes were howling. I included a faint response that may actually be an owl. The next two howls were at 3:12 am at the same location. These are as recorded. No further editing was done.

This series of howls was recorded in Oklahoma during a BFRO expedition at 1:22am on Saturday May 17 2025. This first part of the clip is unedited and the 2nd part is edited to remove background noise from the annoying bird and from the coyotes. The first low howl was distant, but is amplified in the 2nd half of the clip. The Spectrogram image shows some indication of the editing that I did.

Possible quiet "Whoop" sounds in Oklahoma, recorded 05/17/25 at 2:30 am. This clip is heavily edited to reduce background noise and amplify the frequency range in which they occur. I think it's possible that all of these sound are made by owls.

Everything is amplified because this was faint. The "butt knocks" (farts) were removed, because nobody needs to hear that amplified. The first part is audio taken from my backpack recorder. The second part is from the recorder deployed at the end of the bridge. During the 2nd part, there is a faint thump, then a splash. This may have been a rock thrown from under the bridge, hitting itm then into the water below. This happened at 11:26 pm on 06/12/20.
