I only call the genre "Soundtrack" because nothing else seems to fit. It's a laid-back, easy listening instrumental that I recorded , and I had been watching the sun rise over the small town of Rio Medina, Texas.

This is a tune I recorded several years ago for my album, "Southbound Road", It's my take on another old folk ballad, an instrumental version recorded with my 12-string Martin guitar.

I'm a veteran singer/songwriter/guitarist who has played in many blues/rock bands as a lead guitarist/vocalist and also released an acoustic CD in 2007, now out of print, called "Southbound Road" on the You Tune label. My original tunes here were recorded with me playing all instruments except for drums. They're what I would call Americana, country, or rockabilly mainly. Hope you will give them a listen. Cheers!
