You heard that right; Phace is back on a solo tip and presents a razor sharp and absolutely fresh 4-Track EP entitled VITREOUS.

The German electronic virtuoso puts all rumours to bed claiming he might disappear after unleashing his collaborative non-Drum & Bass Neosignal band project a little earlier this year... Au contraire! Phace is all wrapped up in doing what he loves most; writing uncompromising music!

The theme of the EP is inspired by the omnipresent glass human being our era and society is characterized by. And each track featured on this release shines bright like glass as well. As usual we prefer to leave more detailed track by track judging to the listener!

Metrik’s highly anticipated second album ‘LIFE/THRILLS’ released on Hospital Records is an exhilarating and flawlessly executed evolution of his signature sound. Under the banner of drum & bass it draws on his love for film soundtracks, synthwave, neo-soul and the Japanese pop sub-genre, Shibuya-kei and includes collaborations with Elisabeth Troy, NAMGAWD, Roméo Testa, Ragga Twins, Rothwell and Reija Lee.

‘Electric Echo’, a collaboration with Fightstar’s Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway’s synthwave side project Gunship, encapsulates the ethos of the album merging the unfamiliar with D&B sensibilities to create a fresh and exciting new sound. We also welcome the return of Elisabeth Troy in 'Chasing Sunrise' and Reija Lee in 'Cadence' making for two powerful vocal highlights on the record. I'm Rolf, born & raised in Copenhagen, Denmark and since a very young age I’ve been in love with Electronic Music. The sound that I have is influenced by my uprising as a musician in a variety of harder genres within EDM. But my heart fell onto Drum & Bass and stayed there for good, ever since my first release in 2016 ‘Within Nature’.  Besides releasing a bunch of music continuously, I’ve played the biggest street festival of northern Europe ‘Distortion’ as well as playing at various venues both in Denmark and in the Netherlands. I’m always striving for more as an artist and my love is growing for each second that I live, for music and in particular Drum & Bass. In 2019 I went through a mentorship with Beatport & Hospital Records which further shaped me as an artist. There’s no limit to where my sound will take me, but I know for sure that this is what I am meant to do and this is what reminds me of the absolute magic that is possible with music. To create atmosphere, create emotions within people & to make memories get sealed into the brain. These are things I feel with music and what I want to give from myself. My flavor is but another among many, but it is unique and I am here to share that.
