"This mix stays pretty playful. Currently I am feeling quite inspired by tight percussion and groove. I like the way our bodies tend to naturally lock into certain rhythms on the dance floor. I like to imagine this mix being listened to in many situations but my favourite would be on the car ride to a doof or festival. In Australia, the road trips we take through the barron country to get to doofs are often very long but exciting. This is where most mixes get ran through I would say."

She co-runs SWOON, a party and mix series releasing new sounds with every full moon, and throwing parties on a blue moon. This mix is a recording of her set at the last SWOON party on the night of July's full moon, and blends UKG with electro and house.

What’s your favourite garage track at the moment? So, so many but I'll pick Dreaming by Silva Bumpa just because I love cycling around the city with that in my ears lately :)

makahaun is a queer bipoc dj and part of schick.standort collective from münster, germany. a few weeks ago, we stumbled upon her schwesta podcast mix and instantly knew we had to ask her to record one for our little radio too! she doesn’t care about genres and generally plays whatever floats her boat – from detroit techno to steamy breaks, silly ukg, cunty ghettotech and even jazz, poetry and pop. for her beton.fm mix, she recorded a beautiful blend of both hard-hitting and dreamy sounds. we hope you enjoy!

To me, what really makes a dance song classify as sexy are a slow steady groove and thic creamy basslines. 
My usual speed garage and jungle might not be the most appropriate for sex, so for this mix, I looked for something different and tried to gather the ~ hot ~ versions of all the genres I love. 
The result includes everything from super slow 100BPM UK breakbeat to Deep House and prog, as long as it comes with sexy rhythms and a constant amount of good heavy bass
