I wouldn't consider myself a bird aficionado like Messiaen, but many times, going on a stroll, I've been pleasantly intrigued by the birds singing. So free of any music theory, I wanted to compose something like a bird singing to its kin; a song of sensuality, wonder, of love for being alive, and resilience too. Because despite man-made destruction, the sunbird has, and will, never die.
