Groovecore United is a new compilation series and sub-label by Twice Infinity Records conceived with only one mission in mind: bringing you the hottest grooves and tools inspired by the early 2000s, created by up-and-coming artists of the international techno scene.

Not shying away from incorporating funky basslines, campy vocals and distorted percussion loops, the six artists on GCU’s first output bring back the spirit of old-school techno made for heated dancefloors and highly skilled DJs in a well-rounded musical package.

is a Sicilian DJ / Producer based in Amsterdam who prides himself in dealing old school, groove centric techno.

Distilling influences from the 90s and early 2000s which draw upon the sounds recognisable from hip hop and ghetto techno, Fran LF’s passion for the craft of DJing is evident. 

His track selection operates alongside a 3-4 deck mixing format, woven together with a particularly recognisable mixing style which combines fast and choppy cuts with playful backspins.

With the recent emergence of his event collective Vibrant and a debut label release with none other than ghetto tech legend Robert Armani’s Traxman Records, Amsterdam has yet another talented artist emerging from the underground.
