2013 Update - Sadly Matt tragically died in January, I'm not going to go into details but it's safe to say that it has devastated me, his family and everyone who knew him!
Matt wasn't just someone I met or knew through the music and dj world, he was my best friend! We grew up together and had been on a shared musical journey ever since we left school . .we had lots of highs and some lows! We did gigs in foreign countries and gigs just down the road! There were times we had to motivate each other and lots of times we had to wind each other in! ;) But the one thing I will miss the most is . .It was always laughter time! :) Matt was my true hero and he inspired and motivated me to be better everyday! Like me he never compromised his sound and always had faith our mixes would find the right listeners! 
I will be carrying on the REDI Knights name in someway as I know that Matt would have wanted me to! I don't know how that will be yet because we were always a team and without Matt's input I couldn't and wouldn't want to try to recreate the sound on my own! 
It is a certainty though that there will be a Return Of The REDI!
I know Matt would want to thank you all for your support! It meant the world to him and continues to do so for me!!

Pre 2013 -
The REDI Knights are DJ's Matt Lomax & Jay Blundell. Based in Bolton, in England's picturesque north west, they've been rockin' in the UK's clubs and bars since the 90's, and with a combined experience of over 30 years they're extremely well versed in the art of moving the crowd. From the humblest of humble bedroom beginnings (terrorising Jay's parents from their infamous loft hangout), it wasn't too long before the Knights were gracing the turntables at venues in London, Leeds, Manchester, Wakefield, Scotland and even venturing on to the continent for some feisty fiestas in sunny Spain!
 Of course wherever there are DJ's there are records, or at least there used to be (alas, most of the kids today think that vinyl goes on kitchen floors!), and the REDI's have been vinyl junkies since the get go! As well as being avid collectors, both Matt and Jay are former employees of dance music distributor Unique Records & Distribution (which later became Amato Distribution after a merger). At the time this was the UK's largest independent dance vinyl supplier, representing some of the worlds biggest dance music labels and responsible for shipping their releases to stores across the globe. The chances are, if you were a record buyer at any point in the past decade or so, Matt & Jay were responsible for at least some of the stock in your local record store.... no thanks are necessary, they were in it for the love of the music!!!;p
 So with extensive experience at the decks and some in-depth industry knowledge, the REDI Knights are a force to be reckoned with and the perfect choice to get your party started right! Their sets can span all genres.... seamlessly flowing from house to hip-hop, with a little dubstep and drum 'n' bass along the way, perhaps a few little disco biscuits and maybe even the odd curveball thrown in for good measure. Go on, why not treat yourself to a little Knightlife, you deserve it!!!;p
