Inspiration:
Again, as I have said here before, I am a huge old school Mortal Kombat fan. Goro was such a standout in the original game, and was realized quite brilliantly in the first film. The stop-motion choice for him was great, and tied him in to the classic Harryhausen vibe.

Goro, if considered literally, is absolutely terrifying. Primal, immensely powerful, and yet even a bit regal, he would be the last thing you would ever want to get in a ring with. This piece represents his power and scale.

Greetings friends,

I have been blessed to have found a ton of inspiration musically through Castlevania lately, writing and conceiving a great deal of new spec themes set in this world. Again, drawing from the tone, instrumentation, and style of what I feel is definitive Castlevania music—a sort of hybrid of Castlevania, Simon's Quest, and Symphony of the Night—I wrote this piece and am now sharing it with you.
