Yo I appreciate this podcast. There is not too many platform that highlight "real" R&B Music....Everyone says R&B is dead but the truth is there is still a lot of great soulful and talented R&B singers, songwriters, and music out there. The main difference from the 90s (and decades prior) and now is the convenience of having the music and artist showcased directly to the people. A few episodes ago, one of the guest mentioned the nobody buys albums anymore. the truth is nobody truly invest in finding r&b treasure. Our society has become lazy and has allowed others to dictated what is hot. Most people don't have an opinion or interest in political or social and cultural matters until it's trending or acknowledged or praised by someone (or group) that is popular or have a large following. Same thing can honestly be said about R&B Music...So in short .. Thanks You!
