Enjoy this week’s episode of Redolence Radio hosted by OSABA, Guitarrist, singer and composer from the Basque Country who’s been dedicated to music his entire life. He moved to Madrid to study Flamenco after finishing his degree in classical music and started to work as a freelance guitarrist for different bands such as Fritanga (Madrid), Calima (Barcelona), Juanito Makandé…His early age curiosity in flamenco singing and guitar interpretation took him to the city of Jerez De La Frontera. This is the city where his career as a flamenco guitarist takes form accompanying important flamenco singers from the present days. Another important aspect of his artistic profile is his passion for electronic music, he started working with different DJ’s in events and his interest in this genre grew fast. Today is when he shares with the public the result of all of these learnings in these two styles, resulting in a taboo-free musical experience. His latest releases have been Dicotomia (Appetizersmusic), Agüita Salá along Kyodai on Redolent & a collaborator in Maya’s Solita on Redolent.

His second release, Esfuerza, came out with the fantastic Shango Records and received great feedback and support. His third release, which came out on LA based label Monday Social, titled the “Divina EP” with the song “Dawn of Man” hitting the no. 1 spot and “Divina” reaching no. 3 on the TOP100 of Beatport’s Organic House. His next release “In My Head”, debuted on the top spot of the Beatport’s Hype Chart once again cracking the top 10 and no.6.

Enjoy this week’s episode of Redolence Radio hosted by South African DJ & producer duo STONES & BONES. Stones & Bones are well known in the worldwide house music community for combining spiritual African vocals and rhythms with European styled dance beats.
The duo started making a name for themselves through their unique DJ and performance setup. Their delivery of the finest collection of African house tracks are enriched by live vocal chants, saxophones, flutes, and the occasional new school African dancing. Their song with Toshi called “Amahloni” hit number one on the Traxsource afro charts and was played on all the major radio stations in South Africa including Metro Fm; YFM; Ukhozi FM; and Ikwekwesi FM. It received more than 500k Youtube streams.
After the success of Amahloni, Stones & Bones have toured Europe and Africa in 2018 and 2019 playing more than 20 shows in Greece, France, and Uganda.
Upon their return from Europe, the duo created a platform called “Live Spaces” – they travel into the townships of South Africa and host music performances in uniquely South African spaces like taxi ranks, streets, spazza shops, etc. The local DJ’s from the area join in to showcase the specific house music of the townships. The performance is streamed live on Facebook and uploaded on YouTube for international fans of African music to get a real and raw taste of South African house music and culture.
The vision of Stones & Bones remains to unite people from different cultures and continents by delivering soul-touching spiritual dance hits that transcend race and culture. Stones & Bones also perform with a band when the occasion arises. Vocals, Saxophone, Guitar, Keyboards and Bass make for an energetic and unique afro experience.

With great percussive tribal productions and Djing in that NY style, George Aponte aka Saliva Commandos is a rising star of the underground New York scene. He is no novice to the New York underground scene, born and raised in the Bronx, NY he was both exposed and influenced at a pivotal time in music history and dance. Memories of Street Jams in the neighborhood and DJs like Zulu nation sparked George’s interest in DJing. In 1996, George “Saliva Commandos” established himself as a producer with the underground hit "SERVE" on Progressive Records followed by several remixes under the Progressive Records label. By 1998, George released his first track, Serial Buff. The song quickly became a favorite for such DJs as Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia, Johnny Vicious and many others. In 2015, George launched the IN:COMMAND RECORDS Label and released his first track on the IN:COMMAND label “I Love nobody else”. He has since been able to produce and release continuous music while creating his own niche in the Afro-House scene including: “When I was Puerto Rican”, “Knapp your hands” and “Soulchesico” just to name a few.
