Tryst Temps is back on Kosenprod with a powerful 4-track EP exploring the depths of physics and beyond. Teaming up with The Clamps, "Planck" dives into the quantum realm, where intricate rhythms and deep atmospheres collide. "Corps Noir" brings a darker, mysterious edge, inspired by the enigmatic nature of black bodies in physics. Finally, alongside Skulpt, "Nuclear Bomb Alarm" delivers a raw and intense explosion of sound, echoing the chaotic force of atomic energy. A fusion of science and sonic destruction, this EP is a journey through the fundamental forces of the universe.

Tryst Temps & The Clamps - Planck [KOSEN 83]

As the ronin reached the road’s crest upon a windswept hilltop, the sight that met his eyes was not that of the bucolic streamside town that he had last passed through three seasons ago. The fields upon its outskirts lay fallow beneath the last rays of the late summer sun, and no livestock milled about before the houses that lay now shattered, their walls torn and thatched rooves thrown about as though by a great gale. At the town’s center, the roof of the humble temple had been rent asunder, revealing the careful miydaiku construction that had been the great pride of this town upon his last visit.

As the ronin began to tread upon the town’s now desolate streets, he found himself assailed by an unearthly heat that seemed to sap the very earth of its vital energies. Produce lay shriveled and unharvested on the town’s vines, the pathway upon which he tread singed the bottom of his sandals, and as he drew his katana the steel blade shimmered as a mirage. Before him, upon the steps of the temple, lay the body of its faithful miko, her skin charred by rivulets of flame in a pattern the ronin knew all too well. Around him, the heat swelled, sucking the oxygen from the air. Above him, the ronin looked up to meet a sight he already knew to exist - the great canine head of a hellhound, emblazoned with a talisman that bore the singular character of destruction and inscribed with the singular disjointed stroke pattern that could only be wrought by a malevolent kami’s hand.

EATBRAIN’s ronin warrior SCREAMARTS returns to the label with HELLHOUND, an EP cultivated from the artist’s distinct sonic palette and honed to deliver a four-track canticle of hellish sonics to the hungry ears of the EATBRAIN horde.

Following the momentum of their recent floor-shattering single “Muleta”, Anglo-Russian duo Magnetude waste no time in delivering the next chapter in their arsenal with their deeply conceptual and emotionally charged single - “The Star”.

Known for their cinematic storytelling and technical precision, Magnetude continue to gain recognition for expansive, story-driven productions that blur the lines between music, myth, and raw emotion.

“The Star” draws inspiration from the reversed interpretation of the Star tarot card, which symbolises lost hope, self-doubt, despair, and disconnection. The track explores these themes with purpose—both musically and conceptually—while still leaving a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. Anchored by a haunting vocal, the opening sets the tone with an eerie sense of vulnerability and unease, yet subtly alludes at the possibility of redemption, staying true to the dual nature of the card.

The first drop strikes with Magnetude’s signature call-and-response lead work, intricately layered with soaring synths and dynamic phrasing. As the arrangement unfolds, a dramatic classical switch reshapes the atmosphere, momentarily suspending the intensity before diving back into the track’s central motif. The breakdown pulls the energy into a moment of calm, luring the listener into a false sense of security before unleashing a second drop that is both forceful and emotionally resonant—highlighting just how far Magnetude stretch the emotional range of their sound while maintaining dancefloor power at its core.

Musically rich and thematically layered, “The Star” presents Magnetude at their most refined. It not only reflects their unmistakable artistic identity but also strengthens their growing legacy within the five-year-strong Evolution Chamber imprint—serving as a clear reminder of why they remain one of the most creatively ambitious duos in Drum & Bass today.
