Auf Grund des Titels & deines Textes dazu, habe ich es direkt wieder hören wollen – „müssen“  & natürlich dadurch mit einer veränderten auditiven Empfänglichkeit & Aufmerksamkeit!  Einmal mehr,  getragen & beflügelt von dieser Musikkomposition, der Blick in die Unendlichkeiten des Universums, mit Stimmen, die daraus sprechen, in für mich einer heiteren, verspielten Vorfreudigkeit.  & das Finale des Lebens, vor allem nachdem ich den Hintergrund der Auswahl deiner Songs & Vocals gewahr wurde -gerade in den letzten 2 Songs - berührend & lebensbejahend zugleich!  Fühle Dich innig umärmelt!

Ding-Dong Lockdown is still here BUT we can smell already the smoky ravin' air. The soundtrack on the way to there brings us Berlin-based DJ Mr. Propellerhead, who is known for his legendary Wintergarten-Sets at Sisyphos and the infamous Eulennest events like in Burg Schnabel. With his undergroundy taste for subtle grooves and flowing vibes, he is the perfect man to guide you safely on the next landing place (and back to clubbing). So long, have a nice flight!

After playing for more than 70 times at Hoppetosse Berlin, I managed for the first time to make a live recording of my set. It's from our beloved Betriebsfeier in the beginning of March 2019. I played 4 hours on Saturday evening from 8 to 12 PM. My mix is ​​a journey through different styles, this time a little faster than usual. There was no playlist or order. I play the tracks as they come to my mind during the set. 15 minutes went lost, maybe dropped into the water? My sets can be very different. Next time I probably play harder, softer, louder, lower, faster or slower.

Leon Licht & Mr. Propellerhead - ENTERNAL BLiSS - Sisyphos Wintergarten 18-11-19

This set was my personal farewell to my mother Konstanze who passed away during New Year night after a long and helpless battle against Alzheimer's disease.
Towards the end of the set I added a couple of recordings of the abstract "conversations" we used to have each time I went to see her at the nursing home; it is her voice that you can hear on top of the second last track. The last song I played - Edith Piaf's famous "Milord" - was her alltime favourite; I remember how she explained the lyrics to me when I was about ten years old and how fond she was of the idea to go out of any unpleasant or tragic situation with dignity, making the best out of it and the fact that she passed during the biggest fireworks of the year tells me she came through with that under the given circumstances.
When I finished, the crowd (who couldn't possibly know as I hadn't told anyone yet) spontaniously started to chant the main melody of that last song and kept singing, adapting the tempo to the first record of the next DJ... one of the most intense, emotional and magic moments for me since I started to spin records 15 years ago.
She would have turned 73 in February and will be missed dearly.

Nicht unbedingt ein Mix, mit dem man an einem Winterabend eine Flasche Rotwein in der Wanne köpft. Eher so ein verblitzter Flotto mit Schuss. Was schon irgendwie auch Sinn macht, da im Wintergarten eh niemals irgendjemand Rotwein bestellt...
