This piece was inspired by the art above. I specifically chose each instrument to represent something in the forest that answered when the wood flute played. Much like an orchestra, all the sounds of the forest play in harmony with each other to form a moment in time specific to that place. The strings are the leaves in the wind, the piano the rays of light. The woodwinds, like bird calls answering each other.
