Blitzcast 025 : Rosa Red

Fresh on Correspondant is Matrefakt’s new EP, Statik. Hailing from Liverpool, this dynamic duo met through their mutual passion for electronic music, and began their creative journey together in 2018. Since then, they've built an impressive catalog of releases and launched their own label, Attitudes to Life. With Statik, they continue to push their signature sound into bold new territory. The title-track starts off strong, with in your face four-to-the-floor kicks, and searing guitar riffs. Aktiv Measures locks into a hypnotic groove, driven by a pulsating bassline and acid-drenched synths. Both tracks strip club music to its essence—pure, unfiltered energy with zero excess. Baby Rollen reshapes Statik by creating a deep  proggy excursion, weaving lush breakdowns with punchy 909 grooves. Closing the EP, Rosa Red flips the acid-laced Aktiv Measures into a groove-heavy house jam infused with UKG flavors.
