Deep in the thickets of the pandemic we all thought we would find our way out of... that never happened, we are lost in this troubling terrain and there is no way out. This is the new normal. A shut down of life as we know it and a formation of a new, hotter, louder world. This pandemic has been hard on everyone and I just hope that this song is medicine for your woes.

As such, The Rust is incredibly excited to host the release of his most recent exploration in power through sound; the Energy EP.

Combining a history of drum and bass and half-time fundamentals with advances in synth programming and resampling, Energy comes screaming out of the gate with a fierce bite, throwing away any possibility of smooth egress in favor of white-hot bass lines and brick-wall dynamics. Each track is imbued with the pulse of a mid-set climax, keeping the rhythm fully torqued and in its respective pocket.
