As he is a true globetrotter — never being able to stay in one place for a longer period of time — it came naturally to him to feature this trait in his first release. So it happens that he combined African, Indian, Japanese and Berlinese voices and soundscapes into a charming and unique selection of global tracks, just like an international cappuccino of music.

m@kossa — Kolkul (Lukas Endhardt Remix)

In continuation of our constant musical research, we have discovered the Japanese folk singer Ikue Asazaki.
Her vocal delivery, especially on her track 'Yoisura' inspired us to create our own rendition of this Japanese folk song.
In the end, it turned out to be a mix of instruments and cultures from all over the world. 
We couldn't keep ourselves from not sharing this one with you, that is why we decided to release this track as a free download on Soundcloud.

The journey of Heimlich Musik continues with their third compilation that sums up the current state of art in downtempo music. By featuring a great mixture of up and coming and more established artists in the first two compilations, the third compilation follows this concept. 
Musically speaking, the third compilation comes as a vivid trip from oriental treats, as for example "Mumu“ by the Austrian "Wille zum Wahnsinn" to melancholic slow house, as served by "Youlaike" from Cologne. With a slowed down Indie-Disco tune Patrick Alavi continues the musical trip. Istanbul’s "Islandman" delivers a percussion-driven tool to complete the wide musical range of this collection. The third compilation by Heimlich Musik proves that downbeat music doesn't know any genre-boundaries. 
This compilation is a gift from Heimlich Musik to you, the scene of slow-groove-lovers. But in the first place it is a gift from the artists to you, who made this epic release possible. Thank you forever!

For many years, the trio consisting of Pedro, Muno and Defi have been around in the House Music scene in South America with their solo projects, and eventually joined forces to explore a more slow and organic sound. In their skillfully crafted productions they combine South American folk, downbeat and hypnotic synths into their own distinctive sound, which unfolds its compelling energy even more in their infectious live shows.

In „Le Fleur“, the opening arabesque Clarinet slowly entangles the bouncy groove, arpeggios burst like fresh buds until a conjuring synth line bring the tune into full bloom. Seems like spring was never gone!

In the free-flowing rivers that serve as habitat for the many beings who channel and share their existence, their emotions and their experiences through fragments of discernible frequencies, two young entities originating from very different sources met at an interlink and bonded over a common dream of a limitless journey through all the bodies of water that are comprised within the art that is music.

Karim Mabrouk, hailing from Tunisia, is a curator of intricate sonorities that stretch the boundaries of what is usually done these days. He pushes the audience out of their comfort zone gently, but at the same time in a manner that leaves it asking for more of these labyrinthine harmonies. 

He is joined by Russian multi-instrumentalist Tima Savchenko, for whom electronic music was but a misty sea in which he decided to dive head first to further diversify his musical influences. A sea which he now explores deeper and deeper, having found in it a way to express his most inner feelings through the quality of motion and the possibilities of experimentation it offers.

Together they form a singular entity, Redsea. A platform for the vision they share and the vehicle for the venture they’re on, looking to spread around the waves of energy that their eclectic, genre-less and introspective production and sets provide. It is within the minutest details that grow on listen after listen that their heart resides, for what it is, we can consider it the definition of their identity.

In between the bars of a genre that is mostly constricting time-signature wise, Redsea finds a way to make one not only move, but also feel and think. And with a mind open enough, to accompany them on their journey.
