What an amazing year 2013 was for Susana. She started it off with a collaboration with one of the godfathers of the Trance scene - Lange - landing her in the Beatport Trance Top Ten. She continued with a collaboration with Beat Service that again took her into the Top Ten, peaking at number 6. But the best was yet to come, Susana's third release was the stunning 'Ramelia' that brought her not only to the top of the Trance list but into the overall Beatport Top Twenty. 

Whilst Susana's list of successful collaborations include Armin van Buuren, Rex Mundi, Ernesto vs Bastian, Ronski Speed, Stoneface & Terminal, Jorn van Deynhoven, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila and many more, she still continues to surprise, find new names and explore new sounds. 

That's where Hazem Beltagui fits the bill, one of our favourite new producers of the last couple years with a fresh take on 138 BPM. Together they deliver "Silent For So Long" - which will be debuted on ASOT 650.

Coming up next from Cydana Sounds is another team-up for label owner Cendryma! This time, he joins forces with Mexican DJ and producer MUUK, for a dark and moody triple threat that is sure to catch the ear of many fans of the dark and the underground. Opener Outside the Program is a tougher edged affair, driven by atmospheric vocal stabs, deep basslines and a whole lotta mood! The track builds the excitement through a driving groove that fades away until theres only a deep bassline left, creative a transition into the main drop of the tune that is filled with layers upon layers of atmosphere! Up next, we have a tune even darker than the opener, Artificial Mind. Subtle high frequencies cymbals and top loops make the energy unstoppable. An extended breakdown that filters down into the subterranean, filtered bassline releases the tension with a clean drum fill that re-introduces the track at its peak where once again, filtered and reverb-drenched vocal stabs are revealed. The tracks ends just as it began, filtering out the groove and leave just the drums. A perfect tune for those dark, moody nights! Finally, to close the EP is a thunderous affair, G-Force. Having awoken the beast of Cendrymas darkness, MUUKs final collaboration on the EP with the American is truly the perfect closer. Atmospheric, energetic, dark and even a little uplifting. It all started in the basic concept of a remix of one of Sean Tyas’ dancefloor bangers from 2007…. Sean Tyas and Niko Zografos originally just intended to bring this monster up the the level of 2019 standards, but it took on its own character throughout the whole production process.  Cybernetic enhancements and genetic upgrades have led to an entirely new being… connected to the original yet completely standalone in its own right, leading us to not call it a remix at all… but an auditory “sequel”, if you will.

Meticulously (and we mean that, as this final version is actually the 63rd master) crafting the original vibe using old and new tools spread over 3 different machines and 2 DAWs, we bring you Drop Two, to experience this vibe today, 12 years after the original Drop was created.
