Based on a Sci-fi story I attempted to write.
The droney space sound with war drums was an attempt to give it a feeling of an impending space battle.

Here's an excerpt on which this sound is based : 

"We the Krelians were thought to be a peaceful race. Our past was never marred with incidents of war or devastation. Through the millenium our combat skills became a vestige and redundant. But a century back when the attacks started we floated through space and eventually seeked refuge amongst the Donians. Donians were the pillars of justice in the universe, few in number, but they used their scarcity as a weapon. Bringing down armies without them even knowing it. 
They protected us. They gave us shelter.
But then, General Yhur wielded the power to rule. He led the Donians on to a new path.
Where compassion was forfeit.
Our existence deemed pointless.
And so we counted down our days.
Our turrets aimed at us. 
Cornered in space.

But fear for our lives was not what bothered us.
There was a reason we were a peaceful race. And abstaining from violence wasn't one of them.
We held a key to unleash a force.
And it was within each of us.
Every single one of us."

A track based on mixed influences from Nine Inch Nails and Porcupine Tree. Resorted to complete MIDI and Vocal recording.

This started out as a side track to a main track I was working on. Slowly got precedence because I didn't seriously think this through.

Forgetting Loss

In order to not go nuts sitting at home, I'm trying to channel some of this newfound time to experiment with some music. This was a product of messing around on the iPad with a healthy dose of Garageband and iMovie.
