Red Soul X is the brainchild of Jules de Gasperis, multi-instrumentalist and producer raised in Paris, France. After having moved to Los Angeles, and produced for several other artists over for the last years, Red Soul X was the reflection of Jules’ desire to go back to pure music writing, and expression of his voice through sonic research and performing.

Blending electrifying rock energy (Interpol, The War on Drugs) with shoegaze, wobbly and synthy textures (DIIV, My Bloody Valentine, Metronomy), Red Soul X emerges as a powerful eerie sound, melancholic, uptempo and cinematic.

In a world where technology is constantly threatening to outgrow us, Red Soul X takes inspiration from nature and mysticism to create a sound that is both urban and out of this realm, like in a future where plants start growing their roots over our intelligent devices, computers and drum machines.
