This is one of the first songs I wrote that I still play. A simple and happy tune based on a holiday with the kids in 2007 (the good bits anyway). I added some harmonies and hope to get a little Stephen Stills vibe into the song.

This is an audio capture of a live performance piece exploring the idea of transmission and reception through the air - radio waves, internet, satellite etc. No loops, just live playing and processing. The spectromorphologies are interesting throughout but the second half has a little more variety.

St Giles' Fair

Seven is a piece that explores childhood, internal space and oneiric reverie through a collage of child's voice, piano and electronic processing. The piece uses the intimacy of a (seven year old) child whispering provoke oneiric connections that Gaston Bachelard argues are wrapped up in our own experiences of domesticity and triggered by poetic images.

A slow prelude into an uncertain future. Synths, strings and horns intertwine melody and tension and a heart-beat pulse gives an organic energy to the climax.
