Beautiful Disaster

Drew, Brandon and Mike- Red Tide. The group released 1 cd in 1997 recorded at Chaos Studios in Portland, OR. The cd contained 14 tracks and was recorded in two days. The cd was mixed and mastered at Cravedog Records in Portland and a package deal was obtained. The band had pre-sold the cd's in order to make the recording and production finances. This was true "Crowd Funding" before it was even a thing! Here is that cd for your enjoyment! 

Fun Fact: At the time Red Tide formed, the guys found out another band with the same name was in existence from Avon, Connecticut. Mike was in contact with the other bands lead singer, Jeff Wu, about the name and Wu said it was no problem. They broke up and their incredible drummer, Justin Foley, went on to play in Killswitch Engaged. 
In 2000, after playing for the fifth time at the Tillamook County Fail, Drew had decided to pursue a degree in music and left for Boston to attend Berkley School of Music. The guys got together a couple times after Drew left but due to distance and Mike and Brandon raising children, nothing else happened. The guys were prepared to record new songs prior to Drew leaving and never found the time. Red Tide never officially broke up.

Fast forward to January 2020- Drew and his wife and child have relocated to Tillamook for some time and the guys are planning on jamming and possibly recording the tracks that were left on the shelf. Stay tuned...
