The night before a hometown San Francisco show supporting Seven Lions at a venue called Bill Graham, I was debating whether to go to the gym or to write a new record. The gym was going to close in an hour, so I had to choose. On my way to the gym, the studio pulled me back, and I wrote this song entirely in one sitting. Needless to say, I didn’t make it to my workout; the initial title of the track was “Should Be In Gym.” 

I closed my set with the track the following night at Bill Graham, and naming it after the venue felt more appropriate.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
