"Glitter Power” by Reed Fox is an ecstatic ode to the transcendent power of glitter and how it can enhance the aliveness of the human experience. The song thumps through an elevated modern take on disco with wonky and organic synths making the whole experience feel gelatinous, squishy, playful and activating. Once the listener is lost in the flow of the dance Reed surfaces to invoke a mantra with freely associated words around "the glitter experience" that simultaneously summons the mushy feelings of psychedelic bliss states and the sugar-craving mouth-watering feeling of a hungry sweet tooth. Through it all, Reed’s persona as a joyful multiplexer of wide-eyed, enthusiastic weirdness shines through, as contagious and sweet as a series of gummy bears melting into one on the tongue.

Reed Fox Live From Meow Wolf

On Valentines Day 2018, Reed Fox and Goo Age teamed up with Reptillianaire and Jurassic Netz of Fever the Ghost at Moon Magnet Studios in Denver for the greatest bowling anthem of all time. This is the recorded account of their fateful journey. When Reptilianaire was on tour with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on Valentine's Day, they hung out and decided to made a song late into the night at Moon Magnet. Goo Age came over the following night and added all sorts of wild sounds using Sensory Percussion. Reptilianaire sang the vocals into a telephone mic at 4am. He wrote the lyrics about bowling earlier that day and learning a bunch of life lessons. Jurassic Netz striked all the synths in one take. Reed Fox produced, bowled, & mastered the song for two years & made the artwork through an AI algorithm Goo Age discovered, combining pictures of a vase, lion, cassette player, bowling ball, castle, tiger shark, killer whale, sea anemone, bonnet, tray, feather boa, alp, necklace, ant, strawberry, & gasmask. *Listen closely for the baby Ewok's*

He’s likely to produce quirky electro-pop that occasionally dips into EDM & his remixes add a bass-heavy psychedelic club edge to Psychic House & Cosmic Disco. 2019 was a busy year of Reed Fox releases on the Moon Magnet imprint that have been racking up plays on dozens of playlists like Best EDM, Tech House Bangerz; while premiering on 303 Magazine, Ultra5280, & Bolder Beat. When Reed isn’t DJing or producing dance tracks, he’s working on installations for festivals, trying to make déCollage’s upcoming record sound like an underwater bouncy castle, or inventing things like the Oysterizer {an oyster back massager}.
