ReeLITY (pronounced Reality) was born Nakia Jamison on September 29 in Columbus, Ohio.  Nakia grew up as the only child with dreams of playing professional basketball for the Woman National Basketball Association (WNBA.) At the age of 13, Nakia developed an interest in poetry and the great talents of Nikki Giovianni.  Writing poems was then transformed into the art of music.  Nakia realized her truths of life could be expressed through each music lyric written. Using the poet name ReeLITY the hip-hop artist was born. Reelity finds music inspiration in artist such as Lauryn Hill, 2 Pac and Jay Z. Reelity is in search to find a new truth of hip hop and create music for all in and during the struggle.
