On 28th April 2023, REEL PEOPLE release the wonderful MOODS remix of VIBE.

VIBE was originally released back in 2021 as part of the bands three-track EP, HEARTS COLLIDE and features versatile Atlanta-based singer PAULA, who brings earthbound maturity and heft to VIBE despite its idealistic lover’s gaze.
The single is also part of the new REEL PEOPLE album, LOVE2 dropping on 24th March 2023.

MOODS is the project of Rotterdam-based producer NICK LUBBERSEN.
Having already established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in electronic music with his slinky original productions and tight, crisp mixes the man is in demand right now. Recent collaborations and remixes with the likes of TWO ANOTHER, PIP MILLET,T and BONDAX have enhanced his reputation further and on Spotify he has received in excess of 60 million streams.
MISTAJAM, MONKI and JAMZ SUPERNOVA are consistent champions of his work across BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra while in the US he enjoys regular play on key stations including KCRW and Sirius XM.

On 26th May 2023, Reel People release the Blue Lab Beats remixes of Deja Vu. Featuring Grammy-nominated US singer-songwriter Raheem DeVaughn, the track is taken from Reel People’s first original album in over a decade, Love2.

Produced by core collective Oli Lazarus, Mike Patto and Toni Economides, and with a fresh vocal line-up including Raheem DeVaughn, Muhsinah, Chantae Cann, Michael Champion, Paula, Jill Rock Jones, Eric Roberson and Arrested Development’s Speech, this super-fine, 10-track opus marks a further powerful evolution of the Reel People sound. Weaving contemporary R&B sensibilities into the collective’s classic grooved-out flow, Love2 embraces the out-and-out euphoria of love but offers an entirely unique voice.

Hailing from London, Blue Lab Beats are Jazztronica duo NK-OK & MR. DM. The boys signed to legendary label Blue Note Records in 2020 and are a shining light of the modern UK Jazz scene which exploded in the last 5 years.
Blue Lab Beats were nominated for Best Jazz Act at the MOBO Awards 2021, nominated at the Jazz FM Awards 2022 in three categories including Album of the Year and UK Jazz Act of the Year and won a Grammy award in 2022 for their production on Angelique Kidjo's Mother Nature LP (Best Global Music Album).

On the 29th September, Reel People Music release their latest soulful tonic for 2023 with a meeting of minds and creativity by Martin ‘Atjazz’ Iveson & Shea Soul.

The result is ‘Home‘, a single showing off their prowess for collaboration, musicality and inventive dancefloor grooves.

From his misspent youth skateboarding through the small-towns of Northeast England to running a successful independent record label, in-between producing and remixing for a wealth of talent around the world, Martin “Atjazz” Iveson has become synonymous with the highest levels of style, production and innovation in the independent music scene. Fans will recognise that the Atjazz sound is very personal and he puts a part of himself into every track he produces or remixes. 

People always ask Shea Soul when it was that she first started singing, but the truth is, she can't remember ever not singing. The passion began long before she could even explain what it was, and the dreams of sharing her voice with the world were always there. 

Now after years of learning and experience, Shea has worked with the likes of Toddla T, Basement Jaxx, Bugs in the Attic, Zed Bias, Calvin Harris, Example, and Shy FX to name a few. Writing and featuring on hit club tracks such as 'Make it Funky For Me' with Attacca Pesante, and 'Perfectly' with the Layabouts, music has paved a colourful journey for Shea. She's performed to thousands of people singing worldwide at festivals and stages covering Japan, South Africa, and Europe including the preeminent London Wembley Arena, and Hamburg's famous Mojo Club, and her writing and vocals have featured on released singles globally.

Delivering a perfect fusion of House and R&B sensibilities, multi-platinum selling producer and songwriter Mike City teams up with legendary vocalist Faith Evans for summer anthem 'When I Luv'.

The first single to be taken from Mike City's forthcoming album 'The Feel Good Agenda' coming later this year on BBE, the illustrious pedigree of artists involved in 'When I Luv' is further bolstered by a remix from New York's most celebrated DJ, Kenny Dope.

Equally reminiscent of golden-era late 90's R&B as classic soulful house, 'When I Luv' is a powerful back & forth duet performed between Mike City himself and hip hop / soul queen Faith Evans, exploring universal feelings of fear and uncertainty when it comes to giving your heart to another.
