Legendary Ibiza Dj Pippi as one of the very first Ibiza residents he managed to claim a prominent spot in the global house scene. He truly is one of the creators of that distinct Ibiza sound that is loved and respected worldwide

Dj Pippi started to become known in musical circles in Ibiza, and one of his tapes was picked up by the management of "Pacha", who realised that this young Italian was the right person to make "Pacha" an unmissable venue in the disco circuits of the world. The disco's owners flew to Germany without hesitation to offer him the contract that would change his life.
Dj Pippi has worked two different stints in "Pacha". The first time was between 1984 and 1987, and the second one started in 1991 – and he is still playing there for special events. Amid these two stints, DJ Pippi signed a contract to work in the disco "Ku" (today’s "Privilege"). So this DJ has been playing records for more than 25 years. It is a job that takes up most of the year, as in summer he is one of the institutions of Ibiza, and during the winter he travels the world playing music on all five continents, thanks to bookings he receives through his booking agency Music Ibiza.

Records, the label that brought us the magical Rocco and Raw Artistic Soul remixes of Jerk House Connection's timeless "Each &amp; everyday" last year, is back with another jewel in the form of Benedetto &amp; Farina's "So addictive" which features a marvelous vocal by songstress Sandy Spady. The stompin' original mixes are truly mesmerizing, with a remorseless tribal-esque backing leading the way for the vocals. The Layabouts deliver what we consider their best remix to date, so exciting yet mellow and full of heavenly melodies and uplifting energy - simply outstanding. Their reprise is just unreal, and then there is this hypnotic deeper than deep tech-soul dub... But it doesn't end here as there are more fantastic mixes courtesy of Sebastian Grand (half of Yass &amp; Inner Soul) who uses an intoxicating groove together with glamorous chords and jazzy keys to create a contagious feel you can't resist to dance to. Since the late 90's, Spiritchaser have remained consistent as one of dance music's leading partnerships. They have not only embraced the changing face of the music industry but also played a part in the shaping of modern house music with their unique style and combination of song and sound.

In 2005, their spiritual home Guess Records was launched and a new chapter was underway. Sister label to the successful Duffnote and One51 imprints, Guess provided a new platform for them to fine-tune their musical aspirations and the Spiritchaser sound. Their debut album "1440" introduced the beginnings of a collaboration with vocalist Emily Cook and Daniel Jones (Est8) which in 2011, took South Africa by storm with the smash hit "These Tears" topping the charts for 9 weeks and continued for some 38 weeks in the Media Guide top 10. This partnership further resulted in the album "Tears in the rain" which was released in South Africa in 2012. 

"Chronos" encapsulates the years passed and present and with a combination of some old favourites, exclusive new material, un-released mixes and re-edits giving the concept of a "best of" album a real twist. 

"It's been almost 14 years since we lay the first note down on our first project and what a journey it's been so far. The way we create and consume music has changed dramatically over the last few years and so to be here showcasing some of our chosen moments to date, is down to you guys and the industry that has provided the opportunities for us.
