a song about discovering someone in a special time and place.

When strangers meet

one combination stands for the perfect postcard
a smile in the sun and the sun that shines to bright to look up
the time to spend the best of our life but you didn't show up
but where are you ? i don't see you
no one to fill that empty spot you left in my heart 
Couldn't stand to look again how things always go
coming through the front door and open it slowly
i doubt you're here to make an apology

you want me to listen but i'm only hearing
your fuzzy words that are flying around
It's not that i don't care but i'll better be going    
escape from the mess you're constantly making
I need to find my space, the only one i know
to find somewhere else the peace i am looking for




I can say that everything was doing fine 
no dark clouds to arouse the skyline
marching on to where i can find the perfect spot
not to open for everyone but open for silence
cause sometimes it's good to just lay back and listen
to the sounds of life and life itself come'on pay attention
and you'll see there's a whole world living quietly
far from the speed of life that kept you busy

Sounds and Cycles is Rees' first album.

Rees has been working on it for about a year, looking for the right lyrics and sounds. Each song, by its melody and instruments , tries to build a specific atmosphere, a feeling that can be found during Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.
As a listener, you can always try to guess which sound represents wich season, and see if the feelings match.
All the songs are exclusively acoustic made, to keep the genuine sound of the guitar throughout the song.
