Reevah's next single ‘Weight of the World’ will be released on Friday 28th February, the second track taken from ‘A Different Light’ EP, due for release on April 24th 2020.

Speaking about the track Reevah says "Weight of the World is a stream of conscious thought. The track eludes to struggle and the human condition. How we can all carry the Weight of the World but not let it be known to those around us. 

"The message within the song is a serious and important one. When I write music it often comes from real life situations and is heartfelt.
It's important for me that the listener can relate to my music and lyrics on a human level. 

"Whilst writing the track I had thoughts and images of Opheilia, the juxtaposition of the rapid yet flowing nature of the track. Oscillating sounds and imagery, the visual aspect of the track and everything that comes with it was just as important to me as the track itself. It had to be captured in the right way."

Reevah’s next single ‘You Said, Tell Me’ will be released on Friday 24th of April along with her E.P ‘A Different Light’. 

On the track ‘You Said, Tell Me’ Reevah explains “This track has a light-hearted conversational element to it. It's about rediscovering yourself after a transitional time. The track eludes to themes of personal change, growth and love, it questions feelings and connections with people. Being torn between the person you were and the one that you are ever becoming.”

Reevah is an artist from Derry with an impressive voice and songs that stretch out of the material world into another, entrancing zone. She describes her ethereal singer-songwriter sound as “Dreamy Folk.” 

In 2018 Reevah completed a collaborative project with the Ulster Orchestra based on the Civil Rights Movement of 68, she released two tracks ‘River Flow, River Divide’ and ‘Heart over Head’ …  throughout the summer of 2018 she toured with the orchestra debuting the collaboration, featuring at festivals such as Stendhal Festival of Art. 

Self releasing her debut EP ‘Hummingbird’ in June 2018, she has featured at various events such as Other Voices, The Ruby Sessions, Output Festival, The BBC Fringe Festival and Stendhal Festival. Gigging throughout the country she has supported acts such as Lisa Hannigan, Joshua Burnside, Lisa Canny, Wyvern Lingo, and Duke Special. 

Her music has featured on RTE Radio One and BBC Introducing.  Songs such as ‘Nights’, ‘Hummingbird’ and ‘Daydreamer’ are beginning to register beyond Ireland…

In September 2017 she was selected as one of four artists to take part in the ‘Scratch My Progress Program’ run by The Oh Yeah Centre, Belfast.  Following this Reevah was selected to travel to Warsaw, Poland to perform at the PROM Kultury venue in October 2017.

“I’ve grown up with music and art throughout my whole life,” she says.  Her mother is an artist and so she has witnessed exhibitions, bold ideas and fresh expression.  Her father is a musician and it was no surprise that she would pick up an acoustic guitar at the age of 13.
