After a short hiatus REfINE returns and we hope you agree it's been worth the wait. Taking the controls for our third release is electronica champion and label co-owner Terry Lee Brown Junior.

The EP's title track 'Consolidation' displays all the trademarks of a classic Terry Lee Brown Junior production, with his warm atmospherics and intricate vocal stabs spread over jackin' Chicago beats. 'Edge Of Space' retains these attributes but is an altogether deeper, longer journey that continues to build until you're finally pushed beyond the stratosphere by the sparse, unyielding groove of 'Ticker'.

Deep space is your final destination as we round off the EP with 'So Close', a collaboration between Terry and good friend Volkan Akin, whose recent track 'Voltage' was remixed by the mighty Ricardo Villalobos.

Showcasing his inimitable sound on labels such as Your Mama's Friend and *Purp & Soul*, we here at *REfINE* HQ have been long time admirers of *ReSketch*, so much so that we asked him if he would like to join our little gang. 

Not only did he agree, but he sent us the wonderful *'All You Want, All You Need'* - a modern mix of shimmering synths and swirling vox set over a bed of garagey bass and beats.  

On remix duties are two of three *REfINE* triumvirate. Hot on the heels of his *'Consolidation EP'*, *Terry Lee Brown Junior* grabs the rolling bassline and jacks up the BPM to provide a driving, atmospheric interpretation the only way he can. 

*Neil Quigley* fleshes out the more ethereal elements of the original , creating a laid back house groove befitting of any sunrise/sunset.

For our fifth release it's the turn of the third REfINE Musketeer Neil Quigley to enter the fray to present his 'Rain EP'.

Title track 'Rain' is a delicate fusion of pulsing synths, ethereal pads and crisp drums, with the gentle breathy vocals of Ange, more widely known for her recent collaborations with Robert Babicz.

In stark contrast Glaswegians Mia Dora, currently riding the crest of a wave following their Essential New Tune on Pete Tong's legendary Radio 1 show, pitch down the vocals and crank up the energy with breakbeats that threaten to bulldoze their way through your speakers.

Providing a more refined approach (pun intended), Terry Lee Brown Junior once again delivers his trademark dubby atmospheric interpretation, stripping down the original's melodies and intertwining them with a dizzying array of tribal rhythms.

Rounding off the EP is the straight up no nonsense groove of 'Deeper'; as hypnotic as it is funky, as simple as it is effective.

For our sixth release we welcome Rico Casazza and Kozber to the REfINE family with their wonderful 'Solipcyzm EP'. Originally from Italy and Poland respectively, both have been mainstays of the London underground scene for the past decade, showcasing their collaborative efforts on labels such as Release Sustain and Soundbar amongst others.

Title track 'Solipcyzm' is tech-house in it's purest form. Let it's Basic Channel-esque synths hypnotise you until you're ready to receive the vocal's call to arms to unite together, as of course we often do in dark sweaty rooms across the world. Resketch returns to deliver a remix in his own inimitable style; a slammin' slice of modern funk with trademark lush chords and heavyweight bass line.

'Lights Down' is an dubbed out journey to deep space perfect for after-hours; gentle beats and distant stabs combine with the eerie vocals of Maryam Bash to leave it positively bursting with atmosphere. 

Indeed everyone at REfINE HQ loved it from the first listen, and in fact Terry Lee Brown Junior and The Timewriter both liked it so much they couldn't agree who should remix it. As we're a peaceful bunch there was only one viable solution, so please treat yourself to each of their deep and heart-felt interpretations.

It’s our seventh release and we hope it will be especially lucky, as REfINE’s own Neil Quigley joins forces with LA songstress Cari Golden (BPitch Control, Mobilee, Crosstown Rebels) to deliver yet another timeless deep house track.

The ‘morning time’ original is your perfect accompaniment to sunrise by the beach. An orchestral intro quickly gives way to tight drums, warm bass and fluttering synths, whilst distant vox interplay with Cari’s sultry verse amidst a sea of swirling, growling pads.

By stark contrast the ‘evening time’ dub is a strictly no-nonsense, heads-down affair. Chords, melodies and vocals are all stripped bare until all that remains is a sparse tapestry of strings, sweeps and stabs laid over a relentless jackin’ groove.

London based Gallic import Danton Eeprom accepted the challenge to remix, and the result is nothing short of spectacular. Retaining all the character of the original, the Infiné stalwart adds his trademark sleazy bass and new-romantic chords, before a final act that propels the song into the realms of truly anthemic.
